Treasures from the tomb of Tutankhamun that have not been seen in the UK since 1972. The exhibition also features artefacts buried with the pharaoh's relatives around 3,000 years ago. Visitors will be able to see Tutankhamun's crown and gold and precious stone-inlaid coffinettes that contained his mummified organs, but the king's famous death mask is not among the exhibits. One gallery is dedicated to Howard Carter, the British archaeologist who discovered the tomb. .

Bristol's skyline will explode with colour when the Fiesta's mass ascents fill the sky with over 100 balloons.
The gates will open at 12:00 noon on Thursday 7th August 2008 and the visually spectacular balloon launches are planned for the following times during the Fiesta:
Thursday 7th August - 6.00 pm 'Special Shapes' launch and tether
Friday 8th August - 6.00 am and 6.00 pm
Saturday 9th August - 6.00 am and 6.00 pm
Sunday 10th August - 6.00 am and 6.00 pm
