  • Quality

    The EOS 350D Digital employs Canon's acclaimed CMOS technology, for outstanding image quality and 8.0 Megapixel resolution. Always be primed for the next shot with responsive 3 frame per second, 14 frame burst performance and instant 0.2 second start up time. Powerful DIGIC II architecture taken from Canon's pro-series cameras ensures no compromise on sophisticated, effective and super-fast image processing.

  • Focus

    7 auto focus points are distributed across the frame for fast, accurate focusing, even with off-centre subjects. Lock focus before the shot with One Shot AF, or switch to AI Servo AF for predictive tracking of moving subjects - great for wildlife and sports photography.

  • Perfect light

    The powerful pop-up flash (guide no. 13) offers plenty of lighting flexibility. E-TTL II distance-linked flash reads lens distance information and ambient light for accurate flash metering: perfect for recomposed shots and difficult reflections. The camera is compatible with the entire EX Speedlite flash range, including the Speedlite 580EX, which transmits colour temperature information for improved colour stability.

  • Lenses

    The EOS 350D Digital is compatible with more than 60 Canon EF lenses, including Canon's EF-S lenses. Built with the EOS 350D Digital photographer in mind, the EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM and EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM cover an exciting range of popular focal lengths, while the EF-S 60mm f/2.8mm Macro USM lens lends a new dimension to the world of insects and plants.

  • Ultimate flexibility

    Before shooting, choose to optimise JPEG images either for direct printing or post processing. For ultimate flexibility, JPEG and RAW images write simultaneously. Canon's Digital Photo Professional RAW image processing software gives you post-shoot control over valuable RAW images.

  • Connectivity

    A USB 2.0 Hi-Speed interface ensures rapid image uploads and fast direct printing. Once connected direct to any PictBridge compatible printer, simply hit the 'Direct Print' button for an instant print of the displayed image; automatically sized and correctly aligned. The EOS 350D Digital takes both CF and CF-II cards, including cards of over 2GB capacity.

  • Online sharing

    Membership is included to Canon's CANON iMAGE GATEWAY, with 100 Mb of online space for album storing and sharing. Upload images and direct your friends and family to secure online 'albums'.

  • A compact, redesigned telephoto zoom lens for both digital and analog EOS SLR photography.

  • Like all EF lenses, the EF 55-200 f/4.5-5.6 II USM works with all Canon EOS cameras. When mounted on a digital SLR with APS-C size sensor, its effective focal length provides the equivalent of 88-320mm in 35mm format. It's an excellent additional lens to the EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 - the standard lens for the EOS 300D.

  • The EF 55-200 f/4.5-5.6 II USM is compact and lightweight, with 13 lens elements in 13 groups resulting in consistent image sharpness. It incorporates Ultra Sonic Motor (USM) technology and improved electronic circuitry to provide high-speed Auto-focus. Externally, the lens has an ergonomic rubber pattern zoom ring that's easy to grip, while its black body and distinctive markings match the design of the latest EOS cameras.

  • The EF 55-200 f/4.5-5.6 II USM's fast Auto-focus is the result of an improved AF drive pattern, a new type of Central Processing Unit (CPU) for faster communication, and a new AF algorithm.

  • The EF 55-200 f/4.5-5.6 II USM's lens coatings have been optimised to minimise ghosting and flare - something that's more prone to occur with digital cameras than film cameras. The coatings reduce reflections off the rear of the lens to deliver crisp, undistorted digital images.

  • Only environment-friendly lead-free glass is used in the construction of the EF 55-200 f/4.5-5.6 II USM.

  • A lens hood (ET-54) and lens case (LP1016) are available as optional accessories.

    • Canon EFS 17-55mmf2.8 IS~Superb new fast standard zoom for EFS mount cameras only.
    Only compatible wth the 300D, 350D, 20D and 30D.

    To meet user demands for a fast EF-S zoom lens, Canon has specially designed a new lens with a large aperture of f/2.8 for select Canon Digital SLR cameras.* The large circular aperture produces a shallow depth-of-field, creating background blur that draws attention to the photographic subject.
    The lens construction includes UD and aspherical elements, which deliver impressive image quality throughout the entire zoom range. Image Stabilizer lens groups shift to compensate for camera movement so that the image appears steady on the image plane, ensuring clear, crisp images, even in dim light. With a Ring-type USM, inner focusing and new AF algorithms, this lens achieves autofocus quickly and quietly, and with full-time mechanical manual focusing, manually adjusting the focus is possible even in AF mode.
